As the wind power capacity is growing year by year, the emerging challenge for the wind industry is to minimize maintenance costs. Currently 75% of the maintenance cost comes from reactive maintenance and specialists denote that focusing on predictive maintenance by utilizing computerized maintenance management systems is the shortest path to cost reduction.
